A man died as he fell from the rooftop of a multistorey building in the city’s Shyampur area on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Md Imran Hossain, 35, son of Delwar Hossain of the area.
Sub-inspector Bazlu of Shyampur Police Station said Imran fell off the rooftop around 10:50pm.
He was taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost.
