The members of Forum led by ABM Shamsuddin and President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Dr Rubana Huq on Saturday submitted nomination papers together at BGMEA Uttara complex in the city.
The election of the apex trade body in Bangladesh is scheduled to be held on April 4 this year for the tenure of 2021-23. Other senior leaders of the Forum were also present during the paper submitting.

Dr Rubana Huq will vie as a panel member of the Forum in the upcoming election, according to a statement.
Meanwhile, Shamsuddin is chairman of Hannan Group and also former vice-president of the organization.

Another two panels are Sammilito Parishad led by former vice-president of BGMEA Faruque Hassan and Swadhinata Parishad led by Md Zahangir Alam.
