Sharmeen Rinvy and SM Rashidul Islam have been elected President and General Secretary respectively of the Economic Reporters' Forum (ERF) for the 2020-2021 tenure.
ERF is a platform of journalists who cover economic issues of the country. The election for 2020-21 session of the organization was held on Friday.
Other elected office bearers are- Vice President M Shafiqul Alam, Assistant General Secretary Kutub Uddin Muhammad Jasim, Finance Secretary Md Rejaul Haque Kawshik.
Four elected executive members of the new committee are Md Azizur Rahman (Ripon), Rahim Sheikh, Sirajul Islam Quadir and Syed Shahnewas Karim.
